ALTAMAHA CONSERVATION DISTRICT

 

The Altamaha District is an agency of the State Government that was established February 8, 1945. It is legally constituted, administrative agency of the state of Georgia. The Altamaha District Supervisors are charged with the responsibility of making conservation programs available for 101,500 acres of land in the District. The Altamaha District consist of five counties, Appling, Bacon, Coffee, Jeff Davis, and Telfair.

Meeting Information

The Altamaha Conservation District meets the third Monday of each month at 12 p.m. at the Bacon County Extension Office,
203 S Dixon St # 3, Alma, GA 31510 .
