ROOSEVELT SOIL & WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT

On January 23, 1980 the Roosevelt Soil and Water Conservation District was organized and is a legal subdivision of the Georgia State Government. The Roosevelt Conservation District is comprised of Meriwether County and Troup County.

Lindsey Pompey has experience as a farm operator and organizing outreach events to educate farmers about conversion practices. Pompey believes in equipping the agriculture community with knowledge and experiences to properly steward the land for future preservation. Pompey is passionate about expanding agriculture experiences and programs to the youth to bring awareness and activate an interest to become our future farmers.
