The Georgia Association of Conservation Districts (GACD) is pleased to announce Casey Cox has been named Executive Director.
GACD is a grassroots non-profit organization whose mission is to advocate for the conservation of Georgia’s natural resources by providing organization, leadership and a unified strategic direction to the 40 Soil and Water Conservation Districts of the State.
Casey, from Camilla, Georgia, joins GACD from the Flint River Soil and Water Conservation District, where she also serves as Executive Director. Casey will lead GACD’s projects, develop strategic partnerships, and support natural resource conservation efforts by working with local leaders across the state while serving as director for both organizations.
