Mady currently serves as the District Program Assistant for the Broad River District. Her passion for conservation is rooted in her love for hunting, fishing, and habitat stewardship that has led to an appreciation and strong interest in agriculture. Growing up in Colorado she saw firsthand the relationship between outdoor resources and government, leading her to pursue a degree in Political Science at the University of Wyoming. She also began volunteering her time to outreach and public policy for conservation non-profit's such as the Sportsman's Alliance and the Colorado Bowhunter's Association. From there she worked as an intern for a year at the National Wild Turkey Federation in South Carolina where she helped develop their Conservation Policy Program while providing instruction and materials for stances on State and Nation-wide issues. Mady currently resides just outside of Hartwell Georgia on a large cow-calf operation and chicken farm with her husband Bryan.
