NancyAnne was born and raised in Alma, Georgia (Bacon county). She grew up on her family farm helping with gardening, harvesting crops to sell at the local farmers market, raising cows, chickens, pigs and goats. They also grew soybeans, cotton, hay, and tobacco. On the farm is where she found her love for the outdoors and animals.
After high school NancyAnne attended South Georgia College, majoring in criminal justice. She worked for the state of Georgia as an license examiner for 10 years and has over 20 years experience in customer service.
NancyAnne states, “I am very excited to be on with GACD. I really enjoy the outreach and being able to work with kids, because I feel they are the future of conservation.”
